Plan outcomes, track prerequisites, and review completed work in a native Mac app. Give each project a task ID prefix for readable references such as WAY-1.
Agents can plan and update tasks through the included command-line tool. You can browse the board, edit the details, and review criteria and evidence before accepting the work.
Make yourself at home.
- Unzip the download.
- Quit Waypoint if it is open, then move Waypoint into Applications.
- Open Waypoint from Applications to start planning.
Use Settings → Agents & terminal to connect your agents or enable the terminal command. No separate development tools are needed.
Work offline. Share when ready.
Your workspace stays on your Mac and works offline. Optional iCloud Drive sharing connects your own Macs using the same Apple Account. Start sharing in Settings → Sync your Macs, then join that shared folder on your other Mac.
Exchange runs while Waypoint or its local service is active. iCloud delivery can take time, and conflicting edits remain available for review. Disconnecting keeps your local work and the shared folder.
iCloud sharing is a preview. It has been tested with isolated peers; delivery across two physical Macs still awaits validation.
Updates, when you’re ready.
Waypoint checks for updates automatically and asks before installing. It checks for unsaved drafts before restarting. Use Waypoint → Check for Updates… at any time, or change automatic checks in Settings.
Already using an older ad-hoc development build? Save your work, quit Waypoint, and install this download once to enable website updates. Your saved workspace stays in place.
