Your limits, at a glance.

See remaining Codex and Claude subscription usage, with reset dates and times. Check memory and CPU, or keep your Mac awake while a long job finishes.

Choose the readouts you want. Show them together, or rotate them in one menu-bar icon every few seconds or minutes.

Make yourself at home.

  1. Open the downloaded disk image.
  2. Quit AIBar, then drag it into Applications.
  3. Open AIBar from Applications. Look for it in the menu bar.

In Settings → AI Usage, enable the subscriptions you use. Codex uses your existing sign-in; Claude reads Claude Code first, with an optional Claude Desktop fallback.

Updates, when you’re ready.

AIBar checks its signed website feed automatically. Choose Check for Updates… from Settings or the menu-bar shortcut menu to check at any time. Installation asks before restarting; an active Keep Awake session gets a separate confirmation.

Already using AIBar 1.2.0? Install this download once to enable website updates. Your preferences stay in place.

A small native companion.

Built with AppKit for macOS. No AIBar account is required. Usage checks talk to the providers you enable; AIBar does not upload your sign-in credentials or usage to an AIBar server.
